One Pattern Songs: Call Me - The Franklin Electric

Hello everyone! This blogpost is for those who haven’t seen the YouTube video yet, and for those who want to dive a little deeper into the topic.

I’m excited to introduce my new project called “One Pattern Songs.” As the name suggests, these are fingerstyle songs where the guitar plays the same pattern from start to finish. To give you some examples (songs I’ve already made tutorials for, so no spoilers here): I Got You, Honey by Ocie Elliott, Each Coming Night by Iron & Wine, and the song I picked for the very first video: Call Me by The Franklin Electric.

The goal of this project is to bring more people into the All of Acoustic YouTube channel, even those who might be less experienced or not yet able to play the more complex tutorials I usually publish. Thanks to the step-by-step breakdown of these simpler songs, I hope you’ll eventually feel confident enough to tackle more advanced ones too.

That said, today’s video is also my very first tutorial in English, with voice explanation. I’m aware of its flaws, both technical (some cuts aren’t very clean, and the lighting isn’t great) and linguistic (a few grammar mistakes here and there). But I decided to share it anyway, just like I left up my very first tutorials despite their mistakes in the tabs and formatting.

I really hope you’ll enjoy this project, because I’ve already found about 25–30 songs to teach you! Let me know what you think :)
