Leave Me Again - Kelsea Ballerini

Hi everyone, and welcome to this new tutorial! Today we’re diving into our very first Kelsea Ballerini song: Leave Me Again.

The challenge with this piece doesn’t really come from the hands, but from reading the note values. At first glance, the rhythms might look a little tricky, but once you get into it, you’ll see that they’re not actually difficult to play.

As for the hands, the left hand has an advantage: one finger barely moves at all. The ring finger stays fixed on the third fret of the second string, while the rest of the positions are simple to manage. The right hand should be just as approachable, aside from the final measure, the thumb takes care of the lowest three strings, the index finger plays the third string, and the middle finger the second string. The first string doesn’t come into play in this arrangement.

As always, you can find the tabs on my Patreon page. Have fun learning this beautiful song!
