Keep on Walking Mr Fry - Passenger

Surprise! Two guitar tutorials in a single day—bet you didn’t see that coming! And once again, it’s a Passenger song. But this time, it’s something truly special.

As Michael shared on his Instagram profile, he has spent the last four years composing music for a musical theatre adaptation of The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry by Rachel Joyce. Keep on Walking Mr. Fry is the first song released to promote this exciting project!

Diving into the details, the chord progression of this piece has a strong resemblance to classical music, which is why I felt an instant connection with it. That said, there isn’t much to say about the left and right hand technique since the chords and patterns are quite simple. My only recommendation is to pluck the double stops using your index and middle fingers on the right hand, and only bring in the ring finger when you encounter full chords with at least four notes.

As always, you can find the tabs on Patreon. Have fun learning!
