Falling Behind - The Franklin Electric

Hey everyone, and welcome to this new tutorial! I'm really excited to bring you another song by The Franklin Electric because he has so many incredible fingerstyle pieces worth learning.

"Falling Behind," in particular, is a really fun song to play thanks to its cheerful chord progression. However, it's also quite fast, so my first piece of advice is to start at a slower tempo and gradually build up speed as you get more comfortable.

When it comes to the hands, there’s one finger on the left hand that stands out as the most important: the ring finger. It plays a key role in almost every chord except for E minor and is responsible for most of the slides between positions, so be sure to give it the attention it deserves! As for the right hand, you'll only need three fingers: the thumb for the three lowest strings, the index for the third string, and the middle finger for the second string. That’s pretty much all you need to know!

As always, you can find the tabs on my Patreon page. Have fun learning!
