Answers - The Franklin Electric
Hi everyone! Today, I’m excited to share a tutorial for a song by an artist I’ve been supporting through my playlists ever since I discovered him: The Franklin Electric. The song is called Answers.
Compared to other songs, this one isn’t too difficult, as the fingerpicking pattern remains consistent throughout its entirety. However, as you may notice in the original recording, not all the bass notes you hear are actually played on the guitar. In my arrangement, I decided to include them to make the guitar part more complete, creating an ideal accompaniment for the vocals.
Now, moving on to the technique: the good news is that you won’t need to use your right-hand ring finger. As for the left hand, the chords are all simple, and you’re free to add random hammer-ons — they always sound great!
I hope you enjoy this tutorial because I’d be more than happy to create others for more of his songs in the future. Have fun learning!
