Above the Clouds of Pompeii - Bear’s Den

Hey everyone, welcome back to a new tutorial!

This time, I’ve chosen a beautiful song by Bear’s Den from their album Islands, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.

In this tutorial, I’ll be focusing — as always — on just the fingerpicked part of the song. To get started, I recommend practicing at a slower tempo since the original version is quite fast. For the right hand, I suggest using your thumb for all notes on the lowest three strings, your index finger for the G string, and your middle finger for the B string. The only exception is the E minor chord, where you’ll need to bring in your ring finger: thumb on the sixth string, index on the fifth, middle on the fourth, and ring finger on the third string.
