Soul Mate - flora cash
To be honest, I don't remember how I discovered this song. What I do know is that I instantly fell in love with it, and it's hard not to get emotional when listening to it.
Now, let's move on to the technical details of the tutorial. At first glance, you'll notice the presence of many 'ghost notes.' However, don't let these intimidate you. These ghost notes are actually the last two notes of each arpeggiated chord and serve to facilitate the transition from one chord to the next, especially when the change is quick. I play some of these ghost notes so you can hear how they sound, but as I mentioned, they aren't strictly necessary. The essential notes are the first five of each arpeggio, and those should be played every time!
Regarding the right hand, I suggest using your index, middle, and ring fingers for the higher notes and your thumb for the lower ones.
Equip yourself with a capo on the first fret and happy practicing!
