Rosie - Passenger

Hey everyone, welcome back for my second guitar tutorial! This time, we're diving into a beautiful and perhaps underappreciated song by Passenger: "Rosie," a sweet dedication to his furry companion.

The song itself is deceptively simple. It forgoes a traditional chorus and bridge structure, relying instead on Passenger's tender vocals, a simple guitar arpeggio, and a touch of strings to create a truly captivating soundscape. As with my previous tutorial, I noticed some inaccuracies in the existing tabs online, so I've rewritten them for you to ensure you're playing it exactly right. Interestingly, "Rosie" shares some similarities with "You and I" by SYML, both in terms of their time signature and chord progressions.

Now, let's get down to the details! The guitar part in "Rosie" features the same chord progression throughout the intro and instrumental sections, with just a few variations sprinkled in during the verses. The good news is you can play it in standard tuning, but grab a capo because we'll be setting it on the third fret.

To see how it all comes together, head over to the YouTube video linked below. Have fun learning "Rosie," and don't forget to subscribe for more guitar goodness!
