Homesick - Kings of Convenience

Hello everyone, and welcome to this first tutorial on a song by Kings of Convenience: Homesick!

This time, I won’t be giving too many detailed instructions, as the song is built around a fingerpicking pattern that stays consistent throughout, and the left hand only plays simple chords. Even the right-hand technique is quite straightforward: the thumb is used for the three bass strings, the index for the third string, the middle finger for the second, and the ring finger for the first. It almost feels like a classical guitar study arpeggio.

The only exception to this is the bridge, where the index finger of the left hand needs to stretch all the way to the sixth fret of the second string. Also, during this part, I personally prefer to use the right-hand thumb for both the fourth and third strings—it just feels more comfortable to me.

As always, you can find the tabs on my Patreon page. Have fun learning!
