The Franklin Electric - In Your Heart

One day, as the Spotify Radio shuffled through recommendations, "In Your Heart" by indie/folk band The Franklin Electric began to play.

It’s a track that embodies the essence of an 'ascending climax'. Starting softly, it gradually builds in intensity, mirroring the emotional crescendo of the vocalist until the song bursts forth with energy.

The lyrics delve into the consequences of ego-driven behavior, urging listeners to confront their internal barriers to find true fulfillment and peace. Words like "between the walls that you have made" and "between the thoughts that you've created" paint a vivid picture of feeling trapped within one's own mind. It's a poignant reflection on the struggle against self-imposed limitations and unrealistic expectations.

The song recently reached an impressive milestone of 10 million streams on Spotify. Yet, it deserves even greater recognition, and I'm thrilled to contribute to its growth through BAGS.

I leave you the Spotify link, but also the link to a YT stripped-down quarantine version :)
