More To This - Marc Scibilia

Marc Scibilia, an American singer-songwriter based in East Nashville, Tennessee, is one of the latest artists I’ve discovered thanks to Instagram’s algorithm.

Today, I’d like to introduce you to his song More To This, a beautiful metaphor about the possibility that there’s more to existence than what we, as humans, can comprehend. This song offers a contemplative reflection on life, death, and what might come after. Interestingly, Scibilia wrote this piece in just 20 minutes in his garage, inspired by a question his five-year-old daughter asked him: What happens after we die?

Stylistically, I love this song for its powerful lyrics and guitar arpeggio, which give it a vibe reminiscent of Bob Dylan at his best.
