Can’t See Straight - Acoustic - Jamie Lawson
‘Can't See Straight’ is a track from Jamie Lawson's 2017 album Happy Accidents. Lawson, a British singer-songwriter, gained wider recognition after becoming the first artist signed to Ed Sheeran's record label, Gingerbread Man Records.
Interestingly, as Jamie himself admitted, the song was written in just an hour at Ed's house, with the help of Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid and Ed Sheeran.
The song has a catchy, upbeat vibe, with lyrics that capture the feeling of being completely infatuated and overwhelmed by love, to the point where everything else becomes a blur.
In my humble opinion, Jamie Lawson is a tremendously underrated artist, which is why I'm glad that both "Can't See Straight" and "Wasn't Expecting That" have been part of Best Acoustic Guitar Songs since day one.
If you haven’t seen it already, I highly recommend checking out the video of Jamie and Ed performing this song together!
