Best Acoustic Covers

To be honest, I should have called this list Best Acoustic Guitar Covers as I (predictably) chose only songs in which the main instrument is the acoustic guitar. I wasn’t even convinced about creating this list, but at some point I realized that I came across so many good covers that they deserved to be brought together.

Anyway, do not expect rhythmic or up-tempo versions. The overall level of danceability is very low. That’s why I usually listen to this list while having breakfast. 

Like all playlists based on covers, there is a strong Beatles’ vibe (8 covers at least!). Apart from that, you’ll find:

• Covers by very famous artists (e.g., Passenger, Ed Sheeran, SYML, Angus & Julia Stone, Jack Johnson, Milky Chance, Taylor Swift, Iron & Wine)

• Artists who became famous thanks to covers (e.g., Kina Grannis, Boyce Avenue, Us The Duo, Daniela Andrade, Roses & Frey, Jonah Baker)

• Covers by independent artist (e.g., Okay Alright, Marti West, Crow LaMoon, Justin Trawick and the Common Good, Paige Hargrove)

• Covers I discovered through social media (e.g., ‘Breezeblocks’ by Taylor Rae and ‘Bloom’ by SOLOMON, ‘ Home’ by Kira)
