Acoustic Guitar and Violin/Cello

This is by far the playlist I’m most proud of. I have never spent so much time creating a playlist. As a matter of fact, it's not easy to find songs that feature an acoustic guitar + one between a violin and a cello, which is, probably due to my roots in classical music, my favorite instrumental combo.

About its content, all songs include the acoustic guitar as the main instrument. The latter is then combined with either a violin or a cello, sometimes both.

The relevance of strings may vary from song to song. Sometimes they are present for the whole duration of the song, other times they just play for a short section like a pure instrumental part.

Contrary to what one might think, this beautiful combo has been and is used by several famous artists. To mention a few: The Beatles, Passenger, The Lumineers, James Blunt, The Cranberries, Bruno Mars, Yusuf/Cat Stevens Roo Panes, 3 Doors Down, SYML, Kings of Convenience, Seafret.
