Wildflowers - Sam Heilig

Sam Heilig, a singer-songwriter from just outside Atlanta, GA, has spent much of his life writing music as a way to connect with others. Known for his intimate performances, particularly in small, personal settings, Sam’s songs often explore themes of faith, family, and the relationships that shape our lives.

His upcoming acoustic EP is a reflection of his current life stage, focusing on love and the ways we influence each other. With most of his time spent with his wife and three young sons, these songs are tender explorations of close relationships and the dreams we have for our loved ones. Recorded in Nashville, Sam chose to capture the songs in their rawest form—just him and his guitar—mirroring the simplicity and authenticity of his live performances.

The first single of the EP, "Wildflowers", is a deeply personal song written for his sons. Sam hopes to instill in them a hopeful outlook as they chase their dreams, even when faced with difficulties. Drawing from his own experiences, he likens resilience to wildflowers blooming among weeds, finding beauty in tough situations. The song is a heartfelt reminder to keep looking for the light, even in dark times, a message that resonates with listeners of all backgrounds.
