Best Acoustic Covers - May 2026
Just like April, May gifted us four beautiful acoustic covers. This time around, we also have two new faces making their debut on the blog.
We Found Love - trolly
Let's start with a familiar one: trolly and his acoustic rendition of We Found Love by Rihanna and Calvin Harris. While this version loses some of the dancefloor energy that made the original such a massive hit, it gains a lot in terms of intimacy and emotion. Stripped down to its essentials, it allows the melody to take center stage.
There She Goes - Callum J Wright
Next up is There She Goes by The La's, covered by Callum J Wright. It's been a little while since I last featured Callum, mainly because his recent covers have been more piano-based. I'm glad to see him back with the style I enjoy most from him: a simple combination of voice and acoustic guitar replacing the jangly electric guitars of the original.
Believe - Shannon & Keats
The third cover comes from two new names: Shannon & Keats with their take on Cher's Believe. Once again, the formula is simple but effective. One guitar, one voice, and a timeless classic reimagined in a softer and more intimate way.
Iām Gonna Be (500 Miles) - Ziggy Alberts
Last but certainly not least, we have a completely unexpected choice: I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) by The Proclaimers, covered by Ziggy Alberts. At first, this might seem like an unusual song for Ziggy to tackle, but it actually fits perfectly with his laid-back acoustic sound and feel-good vibe.
That wraps up this month's selection. As always, I'd love to know which cover was your favorite! In the meantime, you can find them all spread across my Fresh Acoustic Covers playlist!
